The Algorithm

Three vitals: Respirations, Perfusion, Mental status. Check them in order. Stop at the first criterion that triggers a tag.

Can Do?
SORT, DON'T TREAT
The only on-scene treatments allowed during START are airway repositioning and direct-pressure hemorrhage control. Everything else waits for transport. Tag and move.
03

Modes

Four ways to drill. Pick what you want to practice — calm reps, real-time pressure, group teaching, or competition.

TRAINING
Self-paced. Read the patient, pick a tag, learn from each verdict. Optional ⚠ Hard ☠ Expert toggles tighten the deck.
GAME MODE
Pressure drills. Choose Chaos (multi-patient scene with deterioration), Fog of War (tag from memory), or Treatment Area (retriage patients already tagged by a first unit).
MULTIPLAYER
Host a lobby; players join from their phones with a code. Head-to-head or team play. Top 3 take gold, silver, bronze; streaks persist across rounds.
CLASSROOM
Host from a laptop, students join from phones. Live dashboard while they play; post-round leaderboard with a click-to-review of the cards your class missed most.
SCORING
Every mode ranks the same way — correct count first, fastest total time as the tiebreaker. Speed without accuracy doesn't win.
